Dunbar Tigers edge Naples Golden Eagles 12-10 in Florida high school football game
Staver Field - Dunbar High School quarterback Austin Price picked up 69 rushing yards to lead the Dunbar Tigers to a 12-10 win over the Naples Golden Eagles on Friday night at Staver Field in a high school football game.
The Tigers also received vital efforts from cornerback Chris Singleton who rushed 14 times for 36 yards and wide receiver Twaski Abrams who rushed 6 times for 16 yards and 1 touchdown.
Naples' quarterback Jack Melton threw for 27 yards, running back Shawn Simeon picked up 168 rushing yards and wide receiver Damarion Salters had 27 receiving yards.
The win helps Dunbar improve to 10-2 on the season while Naples falls to 9-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Dunbar travels to Daytona Beach, FL to challenge the Mainland Buccaneers on Friday December 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
