Naples Golden Eagles cruises by Lely Trojans 36-12 in FL high school football game

Naples - Naples High School running back Shawn Simeon picked up 302 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to lead the Naples Golden Eagles to a 36-12 win over the Lely Trojans on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Golden Eagles also received key efforts from running back Jamar Jerome who rushed 11 times for 105 yards and quarterback Alijah Molina who completed 1 pass for 24 yards and 1 touchdown.

Lely's quarterback Carter Quinn threw for 127 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Ninaud Joseph picked up 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Gage Rice had 93 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Naples improve to 7-1 on the season while Lely falls to 3-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Naples will challenge the Port Charlotte Pirates at home on Friday October 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
