Naples Golden Eagles crushes Fort Myers Green Wave 42-6 in FL high school football game
Sam Sirianni Field at Edison Stadium - Naples High School running back Shawn Simeon racked up 319 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Naples Golden Eagles to a 42-6 win over the Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Golden Eagles also received impressive efforts from running back Caleb Dume who rushed 6 times for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Jamar Jerome who rushed 6 times for 51 yards.
Fort Myers' Dominic Ardezzone threw for 162 yards and 1 touchdown, John Holcy picked up 35 rushing yards and Madrid Tucker had 90 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Naples improve to 6-1 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 5-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
