Cape Coral Seahawks crushes Mariner Tritons 26-6 in FL high school football game

Cape Coral - Cape Coral High School quarterback Derek Hooker picked up 60 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Cape Coral Seahawks to a 26-6 win over the Mariner Tritons on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Seahawks also received helpful efforts from running back Jermaine Skinner who rushed 12 times for 86 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Caleb Cobb who rushed 10 times for 58 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mariner's Kaelan Davidson threw for 23 yards and Steven Carter had 23 receiving yards.

The win helps Cape Coral improve to 7-1 on the season while Mariner falls to 2-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
