Riverdale Raiders defeat Fort Myers Green Wave 20-14 in FL high school football game

Riverdale - Riverdale High School Lovensky Blanchard racked up 163 rushing yards to help the Riverdale Raiders to a 20-14 win over the Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Raiders also received major efforts from Cole Hayes who rushed 32 times for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns and Theo Harris Jr. who completed 2 passes for 39 yards.

Fort Myers' Dominic Ardezzone threw for 60 yards, John Holcy picked up 17 rushing yards and Madrid Tucker had 45 receiving yards.

The win helps Riverdale improve to 10-2 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 8-4. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday October 11, Fort Myers came out in front, 20-14.
