Barron Collier Cougars edges Fort Myers Green Wave 54-53 in Florida high school football game

Barron Collier High School - Barron Collier High School Quarterback Dylan McNamara racked up 387 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead Barron Collier Cougars to a 54-53 win over Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night at Barron Collier High School in a high school football game.

The Cougars also received major efforts from Wide Receiver Jaheim Arnold who caught 6 passes for 136 yards and 1 touchdown and Quarterback Dylan Rodd who caught 7 passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown.

Fort Myers' Quarterback Carter Lane threw for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns, Running Back Zamare Harvin picked up 219 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and Cornerback Damian Pierre had 107 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Barron Collier improve to 1-0 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 6-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
