West Valley Eagles edges Lakeland Hawks 42-41 in Idaho high school football game
Lakeland - West Valley High School Wide receiver Alyjouah Rollins had 207 receiving yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead West Valley Eagles to a 42-41 win over Lakeland Hawks on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received helpful efforts from Wide receiver Treden Davis who caught 9 passes for 187 yards and 1 touchdown and Malachi Clark who rushed 11 times for 53 yards.
Lakeland's Quarterback Brandon Furey threw for 297 yards and 2 touchdowns, Wide receiver Bridger Perterson picked up 69 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and Tight end Colton Boettcher had 142 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps West Valley improve to 4-2 on the season while Lakeland falls to 2-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
West Valley travels to Pullman, WA to challenge the Pullman Greyhounds on Friday October 18 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
