Coeur d'Alene defeats Mead 62-43

CDA - QB Cole Yankoff had 166 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to help Coeur d'Alene to a 62-43 win over Mead on Friday night at CDA.

The Vikings also recieved key efforts from RB Caleb Beggerly who rushed 9 times for 123 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Ross Chadderdon who caught 3 passes for 71 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mead's QB Ryan Chan threw for 340 yards and 4 touchdowns, LB Kannon Katzer picked up 88 rushing yards and WR Michael Workman had 97 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Coeur d'Alene improve to 2-1 on the season while Mead falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Coeur d'Alene will take on the Moses Lake Chiefs at home on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
