Lincoln-Way West Warriors defeat Andrew Thunderbolts 31-23 in Illinois high school football game

Lincoln-Way West - Lincoln Way West High School Joey Campanga racked up 200 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Lincoln-Way West Warriors to a 31-23 win over the Andrew Thunderbolts on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Warriors also received helpful efforts from Jack Deval who rushed 1 time for 30 yards and Brandon Bavirsha who caught 3 passes for 37 yards.

Andrew's quarterback Drew Silvia threw for 82 yards and 1 touchdown, fullback Brady Tanquilut picked up 95 rushing yards and wide receiver Dionte Thigpen had 63 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Lincoln-Way West improve to 7-2 on the season while Andrew falls to 2-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
