Oswego Panthers cruises by Andrew Thunderbolts 31-7 in Illinois high school football game
Oswego - Oswego High School Long Dong racked up 207 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Oswego Panthers to a 31-7 win over the Andrew Thunderbolts on Friday night at Oswego in a high school football game.
The Panthers also received vital efforts from Jim Jones who completed 1 pass for 26 yards and Phil Mckracken who caught 4 passes for 127 yards and 1 touchdown.
Andrew's Alex Pavelka threw for 39 yards and 1 touchdown, fullback Brady Tanquilut picked up 54 rushing yards and wide receiver Dionte Thigpen had 39 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Oswego improve to 2-0 on the season while Andrew falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Oswego will take on the Plainfield Central Wildcats at home on Friday September 8. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
