Underwood Eagles cruises by Treynor Cardinals 49-0 in Iowa high school football game
Underwood - Underwood High School Garrett Luett accumulated 260 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help the Underwood Eagles to a 49-0 win over the Treynor Cardinals on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received helpful efforts from Maddox Nelson who rushed 19 times for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns and Graham Jensen who rushed 11 times for 39 yards and 1 touchdown.
Treynor's quarterback Ben Casey threw for 27 yards, running back Danny Kinsella picked up 30 rushing yards and wide receiver Karson Elwood had 26 receiving yards.
The win helps Underwood improve to 5-1 on the season while Treynor falls to 5-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
