Underwood Eagles beat A-H-S-T Vikings 28-12 in Iowa high school football game

Underwood - Underwood High School Maddox Nelson picked up 183 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Underwood Eagles to a 28-12 win over the A-H-S-T Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Eagles also received helpful efforts from Garrett Luett who completed 16 passes for 183 yards and Graham Jensen who rushed 3 times for 24 yards and 1 touchdown.

A-H-S-T's Camden Soukup threw for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns and Kayden Baxter had 72 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Underwood improve to 3-1 on the season while A-H-S-T falls to 2-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Underwood will take on the Shenandoah Mustangs at home on Friday September 22. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
