Underwood Eagles cruises by St. Albert Falcons 40-13 in IA high school football game

Underwood - Underwood High School Garrett Luett accumulated 155 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Underwood Eagles to a 40-13 win over the St. Albert Falcons on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Eagles also received impressive efforts from Will Buckholdt who rushed 24 times for 149 yards and 1 touchdown and Charlie Myers who rushed 7 times for 23 yards and 2 touchdowns.

St. Albert's quarterback Owen Marshall threw for 62 yards, running back Kyle Irwin picked up 42 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Cooper Hamilton had 33 receiving yards.

The win helps Underwood improve to 1-2 on the season while St. Albert falls to 1-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Underwood will take on the A-H-S-T Vikings at home on Friday September 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
