Iota Bulldogs cruises by Ville Platte Bulldogs 49-8 in Louisiana high school football game

Iota High School - Iota High School quarterback Peyton Renfro picked up 209 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead the Iota Bulldogs to a 49-8 win over the Ville Platte Bulldogs on Friday night at Iota High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received vital efforts from running back Jacob Cormier who rushed 14 times for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns and wide receiver Jayce Lantier who rushed 1 time for 21 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ville Platte's quarterback Jaquan Lavergne threw for 72 yards and 1 touchdown, shortstop Latelldrick Prejean picked up 51 rushing yards and wide receiver Jarian Leday had 59 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Iota improve to 3-1 on the season while Ville Platte falls to 0-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
