Iota Bulldogs crushes Pine Prairie Panthers 56-0 in Louisiana high school football game

Pine Prairie High School - Iota High School running back Jacob Cormier had 115 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help the Iota Bulldogs to a 56-0 win over the Pine Prairie Panthers on Friday night at Pine Prairie High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received impressive efforts from quarterback Peyton Renfro who completed 6 passes for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Connor Fruge who rushed 4 times for 39 yards and 1 touchdown.

Pine Prairie's quarterback Ashton Deville threw for 20 yards, Logan Vidrine picked up 2 rushing yards and outside linebacker Kaleb Maricle had 14 receiving yards.

The win helps Iota improve to 4-3 on the season while Pine Prairie falls to 0-7. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Iota travels to Mamou, LA to take on the Mamou Demons on Friday October 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Pine Prairie travels to Opelousas, LA to challenge the Northwest Raiders on Friday October 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
