Iota Bulldogs cruises by Church Point Bears 35-6 in Louisiana high school football game

Iota High School - Iota High School quarterback Peyton Renfro picked up 207 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Iota Bulldogs to a 35-6 win over the Church Point Bears on Friday night at Iota High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received impressive efforts from running back Jacob Cormier who rushed 13 times for 79 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Landon Duhon who rushed 5 times for 17 yards and 1 touchdown.

Church Point's running back Jaden Reese threw for 86 yards and wide receiver Austin Zmeskal had 41 receiving yards.

The win helps Iota improve to 8-3 on the season while Church Point falls to 6-5. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday November 3, Iota came out in front, 35-6.
