Cecilia Bulldogs cruises by Iota Bulldogs 70-30 in Louisiana high school football game

Bulldog Stadium - Cecilia High School quarterback Diesel Solari accumulated 241 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Cecilia Bulldogs to a 70-30 win over the Iota Bulldogs on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received vital efforts from running back Corey Broussard who rushed 16 times for 192 yards and 6 touchdowns and wide receiver Ellis Stewart who caught 4 passes for 54 yards.

Iota's quarterback Peyton Renfro threw for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns, running back Jacob Cormier picked up 29 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Jayce Lantier had 142 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Cecilia improve to 10-1 on the season while Iota falls to 8-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
