Iota Bulldogs crushes Crowley Gent 49-19 in LA high school football game

Iota High School - Iota High School quarterback Peyton Renfro had 200 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to guide the Iota Bulldogs to a 49-19 win over the Crowley Gent on Friday night at Iota High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received helpful efforts from running back Connor Fruge who rushed 15 times for 60 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Inman Douget who rushed 2 times for 58 yards.

Crowley's kicker Sam Hernandez threw for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns, defensive back Troy Grant picked up 72 rushing yards and defensive back Floyd Flugence had 108 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Iota improve to 5-1 on the season while Crowley falls to 4-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Iota travels to Westlake, LA to take on the Westlake Rams on Monday October 14. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Crowley will take on the Pine Prairie Panthers at home on Thursday October 17. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
