Iota Bulldogs crushes Pine Prairie Panthers 48-7 in LA high school football game

Iota High School - Iota High School quarterback Peyton Renfro picked up 194 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help the Iota Bulldogs to a 48-7 win over the Pine Prairie Panthers on Friday night at Iota High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received helpful efforts from running back Connor Fruge who rushed 13 times for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Inman Douget who rushed 4 times for 28 yards.

Pine Prairie's quarterback Ashton Deville threw for 70 yards, Caden Rollins picked up 33 rushing yards and running back Jayson Ben had 70 receiving yards.

The win helps Iota improve to 3-1 on the season while Pine Prairie falls to 1-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Iota travels to Church Point, LA to face off against the Church Point Bears on Friday October 4. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Pine Prairie will challenge the Northwest Raiders at home on Thursday October 3. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
