Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres cruises by Bemidji Lumberjacks 46-7 in Minnesota high school football game

Sabre Field - Sartell St. Stephen High School quarterback Cole Hentges racked up 394 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to help the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres to a 46-7 win over the Bemidji Lumberjacks on Wednesday night in a high school football game.

The Sabres also received helpful efforts from linebacker Donovan Lund who rushed 11 times for 43 yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Levi Frieler who rushed 1 time for 11 yards.

Bemidji's Peyton Neadeau threw for 159 yards and 1 touchdown, Spencer Ness picked up 37 rushing yards and Ethan Biehn had 49 receiving yards.

The win helps Sartell-St. Stephen improve to 3-4-1 on the season while Bemidji falls to 2-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
