Caledonia beats Mooreville 34-20

Mooreville High School - QB Brandon Edmondson picked up 71 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Caledonia to a 34-20 win over Mooreville on Friday night at Mooreville High School.

The Confederates also received vital efforts from SB Jedarius Gore who rushed 7 times for 46 yards and Darquez Williams who rushed 8 times for 26 yards.

Mooreville's Dawson Phillips threw for 109 yards, Kha’sen Mitchell picked up 189 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and Colby Gasawat had 95 receiving yards.

The win helps Caledonia improve to 3-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Caledonia will face off against the Pontotoc Warriors at home on Friday October 12 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
