New Hope Trojans beat Caledonia Confederates 22-9 in Mississippi high school football game

Caledonia High School - New Hope High School Quarterback Tyquantez Crowell had 72 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide New Hope Trojans to a 22-9 win over Caledonia Confederates on Friday night at Caledonia High School in a high school football game.

The Trojans also received crucial efforts from Running Back Luther Hackman who rushed 3 times for 77 yards and 1 touchdown and Running Back La Darius Tate who rushed 9 times for 36 yards.

Caledonia's Running Back Darrius Triplett picked up 95 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps New Hope improve to 1-0 on the season while Caledonia falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

New Hope travels to Houston, MS to face off against the Houston Hilltoppers on Friday September 4 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Caledonia will take on the Heritage Academy Patriots at home on Friday September 11 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
