Caledonia Confederates crushes Holly Springs Hawks 56-15 in Mississippi high school football game

Caledonia High School - Caledonia High School Linebacker Curtavis Johnson had 86 rushing yards to lead Caledonia Confederates to a 56-15 win over Holly Springs Hawks on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Confederates also received vital efforts from Quarterback Daniel Wilburn who rushed 7 times for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns and Running Back Darrius Triplett who rushed 4 times for 66 yards and 1 touchdown.

Holly Springs' Dylan King threw for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns, Robert Jones picked up 80 rushing yards and Lemon Phelps had 39 receiving yards.

The win helps Caledonia improve to 1-3 on the season while Holly Springs falls to 1-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Caledonia will challenge the Shannon Red Raiders at home on Friday October 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Holly Springs will challenge the Kosciusko Whippets at home on Friday September 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
