Webb City Cardinals cruises by Republic Tigers 49-28 in Missouri high school football game
Republic - Webb City High School Running Back Devrin Weathers accumulated 126 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to guide Webb City Cardinals to a 49-28 win over Republic Tigers on Friday night at Republic in a high school football game.
The Cardinals also received major efforts from Quarterback Cole Gayman who completed 5 passes for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns and Running Back Cade Wilson who rushed 7 times for 43 yards and 1 touchdown.
Republic's Quarterback Gavyn Beckner threw for 194 yards and 1 touchdown, Running Back Memphis Maples picked up 68 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Wide Receiver Landon Porter had 188 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Webb City improve to 2-1 on the season while Republic falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
