Hoggard Vikings cruises by New Hanover Wildcats 35-7 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Sam Jones had 183 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 35-7 win over the New Hanover Wildcats on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received key efforts from running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 15 times for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Luke Skipper who rushed 7 times for 11 yards.

New Hanover's Alan Dimock threw for 13 yards, Caden Morton picked up 46 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Devin Pellom had 13 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 9-1 on the season while New Hanover falls to 4-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
