Hoggard Vikings cruises by Ashley Screaming Eagle 41-13 in North Carolina high school football game
Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Sam Jones accumulated 261 passing yards to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 41-13 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 20 times for 106 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Henry Heitman who rushed 12 times for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Ashley's athlete Caleb Robles threw for 57 yards, Jaxon Jones picked up 33 rushing yards and wide receiver Ethan Fay had 45 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 7-1 on the season while Ashley falls to 1-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
