New Hanover Wildcats edge Hoggard Vikings 10-7 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - New Hanover High School CADEN MORTON picked up 66 rushing yards to guide the New Hanover Wildcats to a 10-7 win over the Hoggard Vikings on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Wildcats also received major efforts from CALEB ROBLES who completed 6 passes for 66 yards and Mason SHANd who caught 1 pass for 43 yards.

Hoggard's tight end John Mason threw for 14 yards, running back M'Kel Bellamy picked up 28 rushing yards and wide receiver Nas Session had 11 receiving yards.

The win helps New Hanover improve to 9-1 on the season while Hoggard falls to 7-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
