Cleveland Rams beat Hoggard Vikings 28-20 in North Carolina high school football game
Braswell Stadium - Cleveland High School Jackson Byrd had 252 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Cleveland Rams to a 28-20 win over the Hoggard Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Rams also received helpful efforts from Zalin Ingram who caught 6 passes for 183 yards and 1 touchdown and Porter Bennett who rushed 10 times for 29 yards and 1 touchdown.
Hoggard's quarterback Hudson Wilharm threw for 181 yards and 1 touchdown, running back M'Kel Bellamy picked up 66 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Skyler Merrill had 95 receiving yards.
The win helps Cleveland improve to 1-0 on the season while Hoggard falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
