Hoggard Vikings cruises by E.A. Laney Buccaneers 49-15 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Hudson Wilharm racked up 215 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 49-15 win over the E.A. Laney Buccaneers on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received key efforts from running back Tamear Webb who rushed 6 times for 41 yards and running back M'Kel Bellamy who rushed 9 times for 37 yards and 2 touchdowns.

E.A. Laney's KOLBE LITTLE threw for 188 yards and 1 touchdown, TYJHERE CRUDUP picked up 66 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and HAMPTON Roderick had 85 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 4-1 on the season while E.A. Laney falls to 3-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will challenge the West Brunswick Trojans at home on Friday September 29. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
