Hoggard Vikings cruises by E.A. Laney Buccaneers 48-14 in NC high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring had 291 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 48-14 win over the E.A. Laney Buccaneers on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received vital efforts from quarterback Andrew Hubard who completed 2 passes for 82 yards and 1 touchdown and fullback Isaiah Newkirk who rushed 8 times for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns.

E.A. Laney's KOLBE LITTLE threw for 99 yards, KNARI BROWN picked up 60 rushing yards and Jordan Tun had 45 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 4-1 on the season while E.A. Laney falls to 3-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
