Hoggard Vikings cruises by North Brunswick Scorpions 41-7 in NC high school football game

Leland, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring picked up 100 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 41-7 win over the North Brunswick Scorpions on Tuesday night at Leland, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back David Hunter who rushed 14 times for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns and fullback Isaiah Newkirk who rushed 8 times for 27 yards and 1 touchdown.

North Brunswick's NEHEMIAH JACOBS threw for 51 yards, Aamere Montgomery picked up 52 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and KYLEL HANSLEY had 26 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 3-1 on the season while North Brunswick falls to 3-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will take on the E.A. Laney Buccaneers at home on Friday September 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

North Brunswick will take on the South Brunswick Cougars at home on Friday September 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
