Hoggard Vikings defeat Leesville Road Pride 14-7 in NC high school football game
Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School fullback Isaiah Newkirk had 126 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 14-7 win over the Leesville Road Pride on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received vital efforts from quarterback Matthew Boring who completed 18 passes for 112 yards and 1 touchdown and running back David Hunter who rushed 8 times for 40 yards.
Leesville Road's A Quarterback threw for 156 yards and 1 touchdown, A RunningBack picked up 74 rushing yards and A WideReceiver had 156 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 11-1 on the season while Leesville Road falls to 10-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
