Poteau Pirates cruises by Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool Jaguars 38-13 in OK high school football game
Costner Stadium - Poteau High School running back Walyn Waddell picked up 158 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Poteau Pirates to a 38-13 win over the Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool Jaguars on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Pirates also received impressive efforts from outside linebacker Rylan Waddell who rushed 7 times for 57 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Javier Ortiz who rushed 5 times for 50 yards.
Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool's Nathan Moses threw for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns and Hutch Hall had 59 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Poteau improve to 2-1 on the season while Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool falls to 0-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Poteau travels to Stilwell, OK to take on the Stilwell Indians on Friday September 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
