Bend Lava Bears edge Madras White Buffaloes 56-55 in Oregon high school basketball game

MHS - Bend's Ryan Gottschalk led the way with 18 points as the Lava Bears beat Madras White Buffaloes 56-55 in a game at MHS.

Gottschalk's points came on 3 field goals and 4 three pointers during the game.

Wade Simmelink added 19. Madras fell to 4-2 overall while Bend improved their record to 1-0.
