Churchill Lancers edge Gresham Gophers 68-63 in Oregon high school basketball game

Liberty High School, Hillsboro - Churchill Guard Samaje Morgan led all scorers with 30 points as the Lancers beat Gresham Gophers 68-63 in a game at Liberty High School, Hillsboro.

Morgan's points came on 8 field goals, 2 three pointers and 8 of 9 free throws during the game.

Scotty Riddle added 20. Gresham fell to 3-4 overall while Churchill improved their record to 6-3.

Gresham's next game is scheduled to be played at on Wednesday Jan. 5 versus David Douglas. Churchill will host Ashland on Friday Jan. 7
