Sheldon Irish defeat Benson Tech Techmen 54-45 in Oregon high school basketball game

Sheldon’s Ben Gittins led the way with 15 points as the Irish beat Benson Tech Techmen 54-45 in a game at Sheldon High School.

Gittins’ points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Jaylen Russell added 15. Benson Tech fell to 2-1 overall while Sheldon improved their record to 2-4.

Benson Tech’s next game is scheduled to be played at South Eugene High School on Friday Dec. 21 at 7:30pm versus Grants Pass.
