Grants Pass defeats Aloha 42-28

Aloha - LB Vincent Washington had 152 rushing yards and scored 5 touchdowns to lead Grants Pass to a 42-28 win over Aloha on Friday night.

The Cavemen also recieved vital efforts from QB Blain Hobbs who rushed 4 times for 28 yards and CB Niko Phillips who caught 2 passes for 32 yards.

Aloha's QB Timothy Dennis Jr threw for 185 yards and 3 touchdowns, WR Adam Barrett picked up 21 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Nalik Jackson had 69 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Grants Pass improve to 2-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Grants Pass travels to Beaverton, OR to take on the Aloha Warriors on Friday September 8 at 10:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
