Sandy crushes Putnam 51-6

Sandy High School - RB Orion Shaw had 122 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Sandy to a 51-6 win over Putnam on Thursday night at Sandy High School.

The Pioneers also recieved key efforts from RB Kael Schilperoort who rushed 15 times for 117 yards and 3 touchdowns and QB Tyler King who completed 9 passes for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Putnam's QB Marcellus Kenion threw for 24 yards, RB goo Hernandez picked up 49 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and RB Landy Wilson had 17 receiving yards.

With the loss, Putnam falls to 3-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sandy travels to St. Helens, OR to take on the St. Helens Lions on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
