West Linn cruises by Sherwood 42-21

Sherwood High School - DL Ethan Long racked up 238 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead West Linn to a 42-21 win over Sherwood on Friday night at Sherwood High School.

The Lions also recieved key efforts from CB Qawi Ntsasa who caught 8 passes for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns and CB Ahmir McGee who rushed 3 times for 41 yards.

Sherwood's QB Wyatt Zettlemoyer threw for 92 yards, RB Ian Stormont picked up 75 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and TE Zane Sands had 25 receiving yards.

With the loss, Sherwood falls to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Linn travels to Tualatin, OR to challenge the Tualatin Timberwolves on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
