West Salem defeats Grant 39-22

Grant - WR David Chavarria accumulated 99 receiving yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead West Salem to a 39-22 win over Grant on Friday night.

The Titans also received major efforts from WR Gideon Giles who completed 1 pass for 99 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Jamal McMurrin who caught 1 pass for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.

Grant's QB Sam Simril threw for 32 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Darius Pendergrass had 32 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Grant falls to 0-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Salem will take on the Sheldon Irish at home on Friday September 21 at 7:15pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
