DeSmet Bulldogs cruises by Castlewood Warriors 40-12 in South Dakota high school football game
DeSmet - De Smet High School Britt Carlson picked up 107 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the DeSmet Bulldogs to a 40-12 win over the Castlewood Warriors on Friday night at DeSmet in a high school football game.
The Bulldogs also received key efforts from kadyn fast who rushed 12 times for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns and Tom Aughenbaugh who caught 3 passes for 96 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Castlewood's Quincy Thu threw for 41 yards, Brody Bass picked up 77 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Jackson Schofield had 41 receiving yards.
The win helps DeSmet improve to 1-0 on the season while Castlewood falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday August 18, DeSmet came out in front, 40-12.
DeSmet travels to Fort Pierre, SD to face off against the Stanley County Buffalos on Friday August 25. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Castlewood will face off against the Arlington Cardinals at home on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
