Poteet Pirates beat Horn Jaguars 56-47 in Texas high school basketball game

Mesquite Poteet - Poteet's Dj Basey led all scorers with 21 points as the Pirates beat Horn Jaguars 56-47 in a game at Mesquite Poteet.

Basey's points came on 9 field goals and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Isaiah Chandler added 6. while Poteet improved their record to 3-2.

Poteet will travel to Life Waxahachie on Friday Dec. 14 at 5:00pm to play Life Waxahachie.
