Poteet Pirates crushes Kaufman Lions 66-44 in Texas high school basketball game

Kaufman - Poteet Center Dj Basey led all scorers with 32 points as the Pirates beat Kaufman Lions 66-44 in a game at Kaufman.

Basey's points came on 15 field goals and 2 of 5 free throws during the game.

Mc Kinley Sanders added 10. Kaufman fell to 0-1 overall while Poteet improved their record to 10-4.

Kaufman's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Feb. 12 at 5:00pm versus Poteet. Poteet will travel to North Forney on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 5:00pm to play North Forney.
