Poteet Pirates defeat Creekview Mustangs 48-33 in Texas high school basketball game

Newman Smith - Poteet's Dj Basey led all scorers with 15 points as the Pirates beat Creekview Mustangs 48-33 in a game at Newman Smith.

Basey's points came on 7 field goals and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Bomari Bell added 6. while Poteet improved their record to 6-3.

Poteet will travel to Newman Smith on Saturday Dec. 29 at 12:30pm to play Newman Smith.
