Highland Park Scots edge Longview Lobos 21-16 in Texas high school football game

Highland Park - Highland Park High School quarterback Brennan Storer racked up 242 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the Highland Park Scots to a 21-16 win over the Longview Lobos on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Scots also received key efforts from running back Ben Croasdale who rushed 12 times for 53 yards and defensive back Adam Rourke who rushed 1 time for 1 yard.

Longview's quarterback Jordan Allen threw for 155 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Jarrett Lewis picked up 85 rushing yards and running back Taylor Tatum had 81 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Highland Park improve to 4-1-1 on the season while Longview falls to 5-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
