UTSA defeats Baylor 17-10

McLane Stadium - Dalton STURM picked up 155 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead UTSA to a 17-10 win over Baylor on Saturday night at McLane Stadium.

The Roadrunners also recieved major efforts from Jalen Rhodes who rushed 20 times for 103 yards and Kerry Thomas Jr. who caught 4 passes for 59 yards and 1 touchdown.

Baylor's Anu Solomon threw for 121 yards and 1 touchdown, John Lovett picked up 72 rushing yards and Denzel Mims had 62 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps UTSA improve to 1-0 on the season while Baylor falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Baylor travels to Durham, NC to challenge the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday September 16 at 9:30am. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
