Dalhart Wolves edge Perryton Rangers 33-30 in Texas high school football game

Perryton - Dalhart High School KYLER READ had 138 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Dalhart Wolves to a 33-30 win over the Perryton Rangers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Wolves also received major efforts from HUNTER TRUSLER who rushed 12 times for 81 yards and 1 touchdown and ANGEL AVALOS who rushed 1 time for 25 yards.

Perryton's Julian Estrada threw for 117 yards and 1 touchdown and Erik Mijares had 58 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Dalhart improve to 1-0 on the season while Perryton falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Dalhart will take on the Sundown Roughnecks at home on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
