Edna High School - Edna's S Guerra led all scorers with 11 points as the Cowboys beat Sweeny Bulldogs 37-36 in a game at Edna High School.

Guerra's points came on 5 field goals and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Shania Woodard added 10. Sweeny fell to 1-1 overall while Edna improved their record to 1-0.
