Rich Rebels defeat Monticello Buckaroos 15-6 in Utah high school football game

Rich County - Rich High School quarterback Carter Hoffman picked up 120 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the Rich Rebels to a 15-6 win over the Monticello Buckaroos on Friday night at Rich County in a high school football game.

The Rebels also received helpful efforts from running back Noah Parry who rushed 14 times for 86 yards and running back Drake Weston who rushed 3 times for 37 yards and 1 touchdown.

Monticello's J McDonald threw for 79 yards and Z Thayn had 37 receiving yards.

The win helps Rich improve to 2-0 on the season while Monticello falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Rich travels to Altamont, UT to challenge the Altamont Longhorns on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
