Windham edges Townshend 27-24

Tiger Field - Chad Barth picked up 147 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Windham to a 27-24 win over Townshend on Monday night at Tiger Field.

The Tigers also recieved key efforts from Christopher Brown who caught 2 passes for 48 yards and 1 touchdown and Asar-alim Aponte who caught 2 passes for 33 yards.

Townshend's QB Brandon Cyr threw for 75 yards and 1 touchdown, WR Daniel Estrada picked up 7 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and QB Ika Ibarra had 75 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

With the loss, Townshend falls to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the third matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Wednesday April 18, Windham came out in front, 27-24.

Windham travels to Townshend, VT to take on the Townshend Cardinals on Sunday July 8 at 7:00pm. In their previous matchup on Wednesday April 18, the Windham Tigers earned a 7-0 win.
